A Shortcut to TACO

To put a shortcut on your desktop for easy and quick access to TACO:

1.        Make a shortcut to the database by "right-button" click on the database. This opens a pop-up menu. Select "Create Shortcut ".

2.       Drag the shortcut to your desktop.

3.       Right click on the shortcut - a pop-up menu appears

4.       Click on "Properties"

5.       Select the "Shortcut" tab (at the top)

6.       Click on the "Change Icon" button (at the bottom)

7.       Click on "Browse..."

8.       Using the drop-box at the top find the Awana icon in the folder where the database is (in C:\TACO) and double-click on it.

9.       Select "OK"

10.     Select OK again. Microsoft Windows will substitute the Awana icon for the shortcut icon.

11.      Change the text under the Awana icon by right-clicking on the text.

12.     Now, click anywhere else on the desktop to deselect the icon and text.
