Setting up Cabins

You must assign a grade to each cabin. The database selects cabins for the JV and Varsity based on grade. Seventh grade and eighth grade is JV while ninth grade and above is Varsity. So if a cabin has no grade assigned, it will be assigned as a JV cabin. It must be assigned ninth grade or higher in order to show up as a Varsity cabin. TACO does not restrict you from putting a ninth grader in a tenth grade cabin (or a 7th grader into a 9th grade cabin). So, once within the JV or Varsity group, you may assign whom ever you want to whatever cabin regardless of grade.

Each cabin must have at least one counselor. Without a counselor, a cabin is not available to have campers assigned to it.
