Color Reports
Sometimes TACO is not able to determine which camp a
camper should be in. When this occurs, campers will be listed at the top
of the Team Color report and not associated with a color team.
To troubleshoot this check to see that the camper is
assigned to a camp (Varsity, JV, etc.). Also, check to see that the camp the
camper is assigned to is spelled correctly. TACO deals with whatever is there.
If you have inadvertently spelled “Varsity” as “Varisty” TACO will
create a camp group called “Varisty” and put that particular camper in it.
A
more subtle (and harder to recognize) problem is accidentally putting a space in
front of the camp designation. That is, instead of “Varsity” what is typed
is “_Varsity” (where the underline is a space). Of course, the space is
invisible so it looks OK. TACO sees the space and thinks it is part of the word.
Hence, the camper is put into a category different than the one they should go
in.
