Because Awana is terminating Scholarship Camps, 2006 will be the last season TACO will be available. Support for TACO will be discontinued at the end of this camping season. It has been a good

TACO is zipped in a WinZip file. Extract it to your C:\Taco folder.
TACO is developed for Microsoft Access 2000 (and later). Please have all updates and patches in place for
Windows and MS Office to ensure TACO operates correctly.
Important Note #1 Because of a corrupt vbe6.dll that was included in an Access 2000 update, the VBA code in TACO has quit working. This means that
TACO cannot automatically assign team colors to current campers. Color assignment will have to be done by hand. The fix, as described by Microsoft
is so horrendous that I cannot implement it - it is many hours of work. This was a great time saving feature. However, because this is the last year for Camp I have opted to not spend the time to fix the problem.
Important Note #2 for versions 8.8 and higher:
In your TacoBeef, in both tbl1stCamper and tbl2ndCamper tables, set the ColorTeam field size to 20.
If
you have a version prior to 8.7, you may need additional files. If you have an error, contact Wes Bruning.
TACO requires a number of auxiliary files for proper functionality. If you are interested in using TACO for your camp, e-mail me at "Taco1_AT_artofinvention.biz" (replace the _AT_ with
the normal email @ symbol) and I will provide a full, working copy.
There is a one-time fee of $80.00 for TACO that entitles you to essentially unlimited telephone support and future upgrades to the core database.
You must have Microsoft Access 2000, 2002 (XP) or 2003 to run TACO.
